Context
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Operations in Amman and direct supervision of the Needs and Population Monitoring (NPM) Officer and, in collaboration with relevant units the Senior Field and Operations Associate will be mainly responsible and accountable in coordinating the overall process of field and data collection activities performed by the team leaders and enumerators.

Participate and taking active role in the development and adjustment of operational implementation plans in coordination programme manager.
Participate in timely preparation and dissemination of project reports and outputs of data collection in accordance with IOM procedures and donor requirements.
Supervise and provide training and technical guidance to operational and other relevant project staff.
Undertake duty travel relating to operational implementation of the activities, data collection monitoring visits, project assessments, liaison with counterparts, etc.
Oversee field staff including team leaders and enumerators adherence to agreed SOPs on data collection and deadlines as per IOM guidelines.
Accompany field teams in case there is an emergency mission to get the job done on time,
Perform quality control and necessary correction of data collected in close coordination with the IM team.
Examine and process data into simple forms in accordance with instructions and guidelines received.
Report on a weekly basis on operational activities to the programme manager and make relevant recommendations.
Coordinate overall archiving/saving of the data collected and of the maintenance of the equipment used in the field as per established procedures.
Ensure the integration of IOM’s data protection principles and best practices on humanitarian data protection and ethical use of data across all data management, sharing and dissemination activities.
Perform any other duties assigned Education
Bachelor's degree in social sciences with four years of relevant work experience, or High school certificate with six years of relevant work experience
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. Experience
Experience in data/information management and team coordination.
Experience working with International Organizations, INGO is an advantage
Skills
Ability to verify, clean and process data.
Ability to conduct data analysis.
Computer knowledge use including Microsoft Office, Access, Google Earth and ability to use internet and email.
Familiarity with mobile data collection technologies and GPS an advantage.
Contextual and geographical knowledge on Gaza. Languages
