Responsibilities• Goods Receipt and Inspection: - Inspects all goods and supplies delivered to the Agency’s warehouses with respect to quality and quantity, compares specifications recorded in ERP system to the specifications in the shippers’ documents for accuracy. - Posts the inspection results and goods adjustments into the ERP system and certifies related invoices and shipping documents for payment. - Controls surpluses, obsolete or defective supplies; coordinates with procurement and port operations for further completion, replacement and / or insurance claims for any shortages or defective deliveries. - Prepares compliance reports and effectively supervises problem solving with suppliers and /or end users. • Stock checking: - Manages the quarterly stock take with all related implications and adjustments of any discrepancies, monitors stock expiration dates, and removes all surpluses and defective items from shelves. and checks medical supply and food product item batches. - Ensures safe stock levels, avoids excess supplies being kept, and documents surveys. and obsolete items. - Conducts random inspection of cargo loaded on UNRWA trucks to ensure cargo compliance with load notes. - Ensures the quality and quantity of supplies being transported within the field. - Ensures compliance with the agency’s standards of safety and security of goods. - Monitors fuel consumption, arranges monthly inspection and stock control. • Survey and disposal: - Ensures the appropriate write-off and disposal of any supplies by destruction, sale, or conversion in accordance with the disposal value. - Ensures that all appropriate destruction certificates, bills of sale, or load notes are posted in the ERP. - Acts as a member of the destruction committee as required. • Using the ERP system, prepares reports related to his/her functions and keeps the HFPLO informed of any outstanding, unresolved or delayed matters. • Performs other duties as may be assigned.
