Work LocationUNRWA- Jordan Field Office Expected duration3 months (extendable) Duties and Responsibilities• Responsible for capturing and editing photos/ videos covering the Agency’s services/ Programmes, human interest stories, campaigns, donors’ contributions, field visits, and any other request assigned by the Communications Department. • Checking and shortlisting, evaluating the multimedia materials, including photos and videos received from donors, partners, and the Agency’s programmes to make sure they are within the guidelines • Uploading all the multimedia content on SharePoint as and when required or requested • Coming up with different ideas, recommendations and creative storyboards for the videos/ designs. • Keeps abreast of current practices, trends, approaches, and latest technological developments in AV media that can be implemented for better visual communication • Advises on and develops solutions to meet identified requirements within cost and time constraints. • Liaises with Communication team and other departments during all phases of any project implementation from concept to delivery to monitor and evaluate progress and assure quality of deliverables. • Supports with graphic artwork including: 1. Monthly Emergency Reports (when required) 2. Printing packages (all layout and design files, including pre-press for the printing house and web-versions) for publications and other communication products, such as reports, brochures, handbooks, leaflets, charts, photographs, posters, folders) 3. Social Media posts designs 4. Programme template designs/ newsletters • Support with multimedia content planning and what works best for the agency and organizes them • Performs any other duties as may be assigned by the Communications Office Qualifications/special skillsMinimum Qualifications A diploma in film making, video production, graphic design, or any related discipline is required Experience Two years’ experience in multimedia content production, photography and videography, graphic designing or related is desirable DESIRABLE SKILLS: • Applicable software programmes including, but not limited to, Adobe Premiere, Finalcut, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other software programmes. • Applicable software programmes including, but not limited to, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, In-design, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other software programmes. • Ability to research and prepare specifications and cost estimates for graphic design, colors, materials and presentations. Functional Competencies • Management skills and ability to work under pressure • Preparing/ production of Audio-Visual Media • Excellent knowledge of computer applications in Audio visual production • Excellent communications kills • Excellent critical dan creative thinking skills • Resourcefulness, initiative and mature judgement LanguagesVery good command of written and spoken English /Arabic.
