The purpose of the HR and Admin Officer - Travel position is to manage and take responsibility of all international and domestics flights and accommodation for whole country program and provide day to day support for all NRC travelers. Enhances the effectiveness by providing information for travel/accommodation and on time booking for all requesters.

Generic responsibilities
Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelines. Implement delegated responsibilities according to plan of action. Prepare and develop status reports as required by management. Ensure proper filing of documents. Ensure adherence to Afghan Legislation for required process. Ensure effectiveness in all international and domestics flights. Responsible for ensuring quality support for all staff.Specific responsibilities
Make sure to process Travel Authorization Request (TAR) for all requester for booking. The travel & visa officer is responsible for on time booking for national & international and flights. Advise traveler on travel arrangement and keep update traveler for any changes. Liaison with travel agencies, hotels, and guesthouses to provide effective and efficient services to traveler. Ensure that travel, visa and work permit related documents are properly filled for an accurate record keeping. This includes national-international flights, accommodation, visa, work permit, registration card, payment of travel agencies and other documents. Process the invoices for payment from all suppliers (flights and accommodation) at the end of each month. Manage/booking accommodation for staff domestically and internationally. HR and Adim Officer - Travel needs to be reachable 24/7 for any flight and accommodation inquires or for an immediate support needed from travel. Make sure that, all in coming internationals having foreigner’s registration (Police) card. Processing of single & multiply entry visas and work permits for national and international staff. Ensure that visa and work permit tracking sheets is regularly updated to avoid visa and work permit penalty. Supporting national & international staff in order to get required visa from different Embassies when required. Preparing application letters pertaining visa and work permits for staff and recording it in MOEC- MIS. Delivery of documents, reports and other correspondence to government entities when required.Generic Professional Competencies:
University degree in Business Administration or related field preferred. At least 3 years’ experience in Administration with reputable organization Fluency in English language and local languages Strong spoken, written and expressive Dari and Pashto language skills as required for liaison work with the various ministerial departments.Context related skills: knowledge and experience:
