For more than 50 years, The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has been working directly with the government and people of Yemen supporting them in the rebuilding of infrastructure and implementing of services to help ensure Yemenis may have access to clean water, improved service delivery improves the quality of life, increasing productivity and contributing to a stronger economy, as well as contributing to the overall stability of the Yemeni people.
The Administrative Team supports the Country Office (CO) and sub-offices in the promotion of its sustainable development agenda by continuously enhancing CO administrative services and providing necessary logistical support and facilitation to the country office, projects and programmes in Aden.

A minimum of 2 years (with high school diploma) of relevant work experience as a driver with a safe driving record is required. Knowledge of driving rules and regulations. Knowledge of protocol, driving regulations, rules and laws as well as skills in minor vehicle repair and maintenance. A valid driving license is required.Desired skills:
Defensive driving is an added advantage. Experience in driving to remote and mountainous areas, districts and provinces of Yemen is an advantage. Good experience of driving armored vehicles is an added advantage. Previous working experience with a UN agency is an asset. Knowledge of the UN operational rules and regulations is desirable. Experience in emergencies and security are a definite advantage. Experience in driving high missions and delegates is an asset. Experience in the basic use of computers and relevant office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and ability to use web-based management and electronic log, file and/or scheduling systems is an advantage.Required Language(s)
