Associate Specialist, Strategy and Policy, Strategy and Policy Hub - GL C - 2 years Defined Duration
The new Global Fund Strategy, Fighting Pandemics and Building a Healthier and More Equitable World: Global Fund Strategy (2023-2028), sets out how the Global Fund partnership aims to accelerate impact towards the 2030 horizon and contribute to a world free of the burden of AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria with better, more equitable health for all, as set out in Sustainable Development Goal 3.
Realization of the Strategy’s vision in a rapidly changing global context requires active evolution of the Global Fund’s work, policies and operational model to ensure they are optimally positioned to maximize the impact of our resources and build the sustainability of Global Fund-supported programs. This will involve developing strategic options, policy guidance, undertaking research and data analysis, and deducing evidence-based recommendations to inform the strategic and policy direction of the organization.
The Associate Specialist will also support the Head, Strategy and Policy Hub in providing support to other functions or workstreams in which the Department is involved.
