    The HR Technology and Analytics Branch - HRMOI is responsible for on-going support to critical HR operational processes through the appropriate provision and application of information, processes and enabling technologies. It is also responsible for the developing of the HR Division Technology strategy and roadmap that will support integrated talent management processes, enable full visibility into our global workforce by deploying a technology solution that integrates people processes, data and intelligence from corporate and satellite systems and databases, and will provide workforce analytics and tools to support evidence-based decision making across people-related processes (in particular workforce planning, recruitment, reassignment and deployment to emergencies).

    WFP has recently launched Workday HCM to support harmonization and automation of people management processes, enable self-services, provide access to quality data and analytics needed for workforce planning and decision-making, and provide awesome candidate and employee experience.

    WFP is now looking for an experienced Workday consultant to support and enhance the current configuration and deploy new functionalities in particular related to Talent Management business processes.

    ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work closely with the hypercare project team and partner with HR units in HQ and the Field to understand their business needs, assess challenges and provide digital solutions that support HR’s digital transformation.
    • Work closely with Workday Product owners, functional leads, and key business stakeholders to drive prioritization of requests, ensure efficient backlog management, and maintain Workday HCM configuration. Collaborate and communicate effectively with all the various stakeholders.
    • Proactively address complex challenges and requirements by offering innovative solutions.
    • Leverage Workday expertise, promote and implement Workday best practices, ensuring optimal system performance and efficiency.
    • Prototype and configure the solutions in Workday following high quality standards liaising with the security and reporting experts when it is required.
    • Demonstrate prototypes to the business stakeholders and if required, provide amendments until the business acceptance is received.
    • Ensure functional solutions are compatible with all Workday HCM modules and configurations, data translation, integrations and easy to maintain.
    • Assist the creation of tests scenarios and facilitate the user testing.
    • Lead and prioritize backlog, Resolve issues and bugs.
    • Support the migration of the configuration between the different tenants when it is required.
    • Support data migration and integrations when it is required.
    • Actively participate in training internal resources and knowledge sharing.
    • Other tasks as required.

      QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

      Education:

      University’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field of study.

      Experience:

      • Existing and up to date Workday Certification.
      • 5+ years prior experience implementing Workday HCM with a certified Workday implementer
      • Experience with solution design, system configuration and implementation of changes within Workday.
      • Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions within Workday.
      • Demonstrated commitment and achievement to delivery excellence and client relationship management.
      • Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands.

        Knowledge & Skills:

        • Deep knowledge of Workday business processes and configurations for Workday HCM (Core HR and/or Talent Management)
        • Knowledge of Workday Adaptive Planning would be a plus.
        • Existing and up to date Workday Certification(s).
        • Knowledge of core HR concepts and processes.
        • Ability to facilitate cross-functional discussions.
        • Proven experience managing cross functional and multi-cultural teams.
        • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
        • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate and team with others.
