About the Role Ashoka is looking for a self-driven individual with a deep commitment to social change to support the selection of new Ashoka Fellows, and manage the existing Ashoka community of leading social entrepreneurs in Indonesia. This including but not limited to determining candidates' pipeline, championing the candidate in the Ashoka Fellow process, assisting fellow in the administrative process (stipend process, onboarding program and others), maintaining the network of Ashoka Fellows in Indonesia through Next Now Program, coordinate fellowship opportunity programs from global, regional and Indonesia for Ashoka Fellow, including but not limited to becoming the point of contact for communication among participants, developing the program, and maintaining the community through various Ashoka Indonesia program, such as Family changemaking, Youth Years and Metro Strategy. This role will be supported by, and expected to support back, the peers and teams of the wider regional and global organization, particularly the Global Venture Team and the Southeast Asia Diamond. RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the full selection process of new Ashoka Fellows in the region, from sourcing to international validation; Build an active, collaborative and supportive network across the region to ensure a meaningful experience for Ashoka Fellows; Manage communication with Fellows as well as knowledge aspects; Coordinate with Ashoka Southeast Asia and Ashoka Global strategy regarding Venture & Fellowship programs; Develop partnerships to support Venture and Fellowship work in the region; Help represent Ashoka, social entrepreneurship and changemaking in Indonesia. Develop new strategies and national networks to find and support the most relevant, high-impact social innovators (Ashoka Fellows) Grow and strengthen the trust-based network of the local Ashoka Fellowship and build meaningful connections with the global Fellowship Upholding integrity and solidarity so regional teams could collaborate at ease with utmost support towards one another. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree required Minimum 4 years' work experience in Indonesia, both voluntary and paid, in program development and implementation or any works in social sector in Indonesia Fluency in English, written and verbal. DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Entrepreneurial with a history of having started new organizations or having changed the direction of existing initiatives based on his/her original ideas. Flexible and creative problem-solver with the ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced and unstructured environment. Strong analytical and strategic thinking applicable to social innovation Superb writing and communications skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English Exceptional team player with ability to build relationships with individuals of various cultural and professional backgrounds and develop partnerships Comfortable working across different sectors at a national level, especially with the business and social sectors and academia. Must demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population and be able to work with people of different backgrounds across all areas of the world Strong understanding of social issues in Indonesia with a demonstrated deep commitment to social change in the region Proactive and organized individual with strong project management skills Strong interest in accelerating the movement building ecosystem across Indonesia.
