ContextAs the UN's leading development agency, UNDP promotes sustainable solutions to address internal displacement, a challenge that goes beyond humanitarian response. This approach requires strengthening capacities at the global, regional, and national levels. To this end, an introductory curriculum has been developed based on its 2023 Institutional Strategy and an upcoming practical guide. The goal is for staff in country offices and regional centers, from managers to technical staff, to acquire skills to coordinate solutions, support governments and local actors, and integrate the displacement solutions approach into their development projects.
