ITSBA Context
The ITS Business Administration Department (ITSBA) is a central pillar in the World Bank Group's IT, responsible for managing the business of ITS. ITSBA serves as a strategic catalyst, navigating IT transformation, endorsing agile and lean methodologies, and sculpting the IT workforce blueprint. It champions stringent governance, proactive risk management, and unwavering compliance with policies and standards, while also ensuring meticulous financial oversight of IT resources. ITSBA is the driving force behind organizational change and transformation efforts, instilling a culture of innovation and continuous learning. ITSBA is responsible for equipping the IT workforce with the necessary skills to address both present and future technological advancements and managing strategic sourcing and vendor management.

Unit Context
The Transformation Management Unit (ITSTM) was created to drive enterprise-wide change initiatives, advance the new IT Operating Model adoption, and embed organizational change management (OCM) capabilities across ITS. The unit provides specialized support in strategic program delivery, transformation, and digital modernization. Through a robust service portfolio, ITSTM ensures transformation efforts are impactful, inclusive, and resilient—empowering ITS to meet future demands while improving user experience, adoption, and business outcomes.
The Transformation Digital Specialist will contribute to increasing staff awareness, understanding, and adoption of ITS transformation priorities through impactful communication products, digital storytelling, and knowledge management tools.
The role will ensure the ITS Transformation Hub and related platforms are continuously updated, accessible, and data-driven—serving as the single source of truth for transformation information.
3. Roles and Responsibilities
A. Digital Platform and Knowledge Management
- Maintain and continuously update the ITS Transformation Hub and associated platforms, leveraging analytics and user feedback to continuously improve structure, accessibility, and usability.
- Ensure all transformation resources are accurate, accessible, and user-friendly.
- Support content governance, archiving, and version control.
B. Content Development and Visual Design
- Develop clear, engaging, and visually appealing communication materials (slides, infographics, videos, digital campaigns, newsletters, etc.) in close collaboration with Transformation workstream leads and internal teams.
-Translate complex transformation concepts into compelling narratives and visuals.
- Ensure all outputs align with ITS brand and tone guidelines.
C. Analytics and Continuous Improvement
- Monitor engagement and usage data from digital channels (e.g., Hub analytics, SharePoint, Yammer).
- Analyze trends and provide quarterly reports to refine content strategy and improve staff experience.
- Support data-driven decisions to enhance communication reach and relevance.
D. Innovation and Modernization
- Introduce creative, interactive communication methods (digital storytelling, short videos, motion graphics, podcasts).
- Support visual facilitation for design sprints and transformation events.
- Benchmark ITS transformation communications against peer organizations and identify best practices.
4. Deliverables
- Up-to-date and well-maintained ITS Transformation Hub and knowledge repositories.
- Regular publication of visually engaging and high-quality communication materials.
- Regular analytics report on staff engagement, reach, and content performance.
- Communication templates and visual standards guide for internal use.
- Documented lessons learned and improvement recommendations for digital communications.
- Timely delivery of ad hoc or rapid-response communication materials to support emerging transformation priorities.
Selection Criteria
* Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Marketing, or related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital communications, visual design, or knowledge management.
* Proven ability to simplify complex concepts into accessible, audience-appropriate content.
* Strong proficiency in digital design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva, etc.) and familiarity with SharePoint or equivalent content platforms.
* Experience tracking engagement metrics and using analytics for content optimization.
* Demonstrated creativity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
* Experience in Agile, organizational and digital transformation, or change management environments desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural, distributed team.
