Context:
Under the overall guidance of the Head of Office of IOM Hungary and the direct supervision of the Senior Project Associate (Protection), the Programme Support Assistant (Protection) will provide administrative, coordination, and technical support for the effective implementation of IOM Hungary’s protection programmes. The incumbent will assist the Protection Unit with data management, stakeholder coordination, donor reporting inputs, and logistical arrangements, ensuring compliance with IOM policies and donor requirements.
Education
Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.
Experience
Experience in protection programmes and working with vulnerable populations.
Familiarity with migrant rights, counter-trafficking, gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, and child protection
Previous experience with data collection, reporting, and database management.
Experience in liaising with government entities, NGOs, and private sector stakeholders.
Knowledge of IOM and UN social integration policies is an asset.

Languages
IOM’s official languages are English, French and Spanish.
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.
