Terms of ReferenceThe UNHCR Multi-Country Office in Argentina provides support to refugees, asylum seekers, and other forcibly displaced people in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay.

In Chile, UNHCR collaborates with partners, government institutions, civil society and communities. The focus is on ensuring international protection, advocating for integration, and promoting durable solutions for over 450,000 refugees, asylum-seekers, and others in need of international protection. Special attention is given to working alongside hosting communities to promote peaceful coexistence, reduce xenophobic expressions, and foster positive social processes where both Chileans and newcomers collaborate for the benefit of their communities.

UNHCR is looking for a professional to provide administrative support to Iquique Field Unit, within UNHCR´s Chile National Office purview.
He/she will assist in the interpretation and processing of entitlements, issuance of contracts and maintenance among others, assist in administrative procedures related to travel arrangements and any other activities related to UNHCR's financial accountability and welfare, while ensuring compliance with UN policies and procedures.
The incumbent will be under the supervision of the Head of the Field Unit, and will coordinate with the other sections/units to ensure harmonized administrative approaches in the Northern Zone of Chile in conjunction with the Administration Unit at the national level.

The ideal candidate should have administrative experience and the ability to work both in Spanish and in English. Additional experience working in client-oriented services, logistics and/or finance and supply is highly desirable.
Experience working for international organizations, NGO´s and/or government is an asset.

The successful candidate must be willing and able to work in dynamic, multicultural and fast-evolving environments, promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
