Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Adviser the Reporting Officer will work closely with the Project technical Specialists to ensure timely preparation and completion of monthly, quarterly and Annual reports for USAID, MoH and other partners. S/he will coordinate with Subnational Activity Support Managers, specialists from monitoring and evaluation team in information and data collection for report development. Her/his responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities

· Use information from project activities and field reporting to compile results-based information products on project status and impact, including project deliverables for report development.

· Coordination of the report development with FHI360 Asia Pacific Regional Office (APRO) team, including planning and organization of online meetings.

· Assists M&E team in the review of the results of data analysis during report development. Provide critical inputs and analysis into draft reporting submitted from the country technical Leads.

· Collaborate closely and provide reporting guide to technical project staff to ensure quality report writing.

· Review quality of all versions final reporting products prior to submission.

· Coordinate reports (monthly, quarterly and Annual for USAID and MoH) and outputs highlights, ad-hoc reporting, provide substantial inputs to Project technical team in writing of reports and project updates.

· Report project status and impact to a number of audiences and through a variety of formats.

· Coordinate with MERL Adviser the process of responding donor’s questions\\comments to any reports.

· Coordinates with Project technical team on project’s activity tracker, to ensure activities, commitments and deliverables are captured; to monitor activity tracker on daily basis.

· Utilizes critical inputs, feedback, and assessments to inform changes in project.

· Explore and suggest additional opportunities for information products.

· Suggest innovative approaches in project reporting both in terms of approach and delivery.

· To uploads all approved relevant reports into the online systems as required.

· Participates in working group within project, per management request.

· Performs other relevant duties as assigned by the MERL Adviser, COP and DCOP.

Minimum Requirements

Education:

· A first-level university degree in international relations, political science, communications or related field.

Qualification:

· Demonstrated experience of 5 years in deadline-driven project implementation reporting environments.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Power Point.

· Possession of professional-level writing skills in English, Tajik, fluency in Russian with experience in writing reports on short deadlines.

· Experience in reporting and public health analysis will be advantageous.

· Strong report writing skills in English, Tajik and Russian including the abilities to capture the subject of writing, formulate the purpose of the report, and relate subject, purpose and content to the specific information needs of the audience which reports are intended to engage.

· Strong analytical skills. Ability to analyze data, correct errors, and prepare reports.
