Project Description
Feed the Future Ethiopia Community Nutrition Activity (Community Nutrition) is a five-year (June 15, 2023–June 14, 2028) Cooperative Agreement between the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and Family Health International (FHI 360). Community Nutrition is implemented by a consortium of partners including FHI 360 (lead), two private sector partners (Zeleman Communications and HANZ Consulting), and two international nonprofit organizations (Research Triangle Institute [RTI] International and International Rescue Committee [IRC]).
The overall objective of Community Nutrition is to increase and sustain improvements in 10 high-impact nutrition behaviors that address maternal nutrition, infant and young child nutrition, and caretaker hygiene.
Job Description
The Program Officers will support the management and execution of the Ethiopia Community Nutrition Activity. They will work with the Ethiopia Community Nutrition Activity Chief of Party and other staff to implement the project. Collects, compiles, and analyzes information relevant to programs. Provides administrative and project support, in addition to communication efforts related to program management and execution. Ensures compliance with internal and external regulations. Monitors budget for programs and develops monitoring system for reviewing project status. Ensures completion of the project while adhering to budget, scope, and schedule requirements. Develops/reviews work plans, prepares presentations, and supports other related program objectives and deliverables.
Provides support to program management such as coordination of activities, troubleshooting, updates work plans, administrative support and monitors program activities.
