- Support the identification and engagement of strategic corporate partners for migration and durable solutions projects.
- Assist in developing marketing and communication strategies aimed at fundraising and partnership development.
- Support the maintenance of corporate relationships, monitoring results and opportunities for expansion.
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals, presentations, and promotional materials for potential private sector partners.
- Support field teams in coordinating partnership activities, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and operational plans.
- Maintain a database of partnerships, contacts, and relevant information to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Collaborate in the implementation of marketing campaigns and institutional visibility activities.
- Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that IOM’s engagement with partners is transparent, effective, and aligned with institutional objectives.
- Support the analysis of private sector trends and innovation opportunities applicable to IOM’s activities.
- Perform other work-related tasks, as required. Education
- Postgraduate studies or additional training in project management, fundraising, or innovation is desirable; or,
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, International Relations, Social Sciences, Economics, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. Experience
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating operational activities within a team or department, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of tasks.
- Experience in preparing proposals, promotional materials, and marketing strategies for fundraising.
- Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively within a diverse team.
- Experienced in working cross-functionally and obtaining relevant content and information from different units to build innovative partnerships with public and private sector.
- At least two (2) years of experience in private sector engagement, corporate partnerships, or institutional marketing.Skills
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to engage with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management principles and tools would be advantageous.
- Ability to develop marketing strategies and corporate partnerships.
- Ability to write, draft, and edit reports, acknowledgements, briefings, and donor correspondence letters, proposals, grants and appeals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing tools.
- In-depth understanding of public and private sector partnerships, fundraising, philanthropy and UN agencies; and,
- In-depth understanding of migration and business and human rights.Languages
REQUIRED
For this position, fluency in Portugues and English is required (oral and written).
DESIRABLE
Working knowledge in Spanish is an advantage.
