Are you a strategic thinker with strong judgment in integrity risks and reputational matters? The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is seeking a Principal, Project Integrity to assess and mitigate integrity and reputational risks across various regions. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in banking, legal, compliance, or auditing who thrive in high-stakes decision-making environments.
About the Role
The Principal, Project Integrity will in due course be responsible for the integrity aspects of the EBRD’s operations in a number of regions, including particularly Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA), but also other areas of the Bank’s operations in North Africa, Central Asia or Eastern Europe. Applicants for a broader role, but less focussed on SSA would also be welcome and encouraged to apply, given the needs elsewhere in the team.
The job holder works within the Project Integrity team in the Office of the Chief Compliance Officer (OCCO) to assess integrity risks in projects and ensure high standards of integrity are consistently applied through the Bank’s projects.
This is not a ‘regulatory compliance’ role. This position will suit someone keen to use their reputational and integrity risk judgement, pro-active in seeking solutions on a cooperative basis, and with the ability to accept and propose decisions that are not always in line with their own.
