Supervisor: The incumbent of this post reports to the Area Health Officer (AHO) and receives technical guidance from Field Family Health Officer (FFHO). Responsibilities1. Undertakes regular visits to UNRWA health centres according to a rotating working schedule in order to examine, treat and follow-up of high-risk pregnancies and other women with special health needs. 2. Plans and directs the in-service training of medical and nursing staff on gynaecology and obstetrics trainings mainly on safe reproductive health practices and insertion of intra-uterine devices. 3. Maintains records of patients on the electronic medical records (EMR) system and provides statistical data and relevant information on such patients to the Field Office on monthly/ Quarterly basis. 4. Maintains an effective system of referral, and feedback within the health centre and from contracted and government hospitals, and refers refugee patients through hospitalization management system. 5. Ensures that equipment and supplies are maintained, and techniques are performed in accordance with standard Agency procedures. 6. Performs other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor. Work ExperienceA minimum of six years of progressively responsible experience in medicine including two years’ experience in obstetrics and gynaecology after obtaining a degree in this discipline is required.
