Work LocationGeneva Expected duration3-6 Months Duties and Responsibilities• Assist in developing and customizing applications using Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. • Analyze requirements and design automation solutions to streamline workflows and improve productivity. • Collaborate with developers to create technical solutions that meet user needs while adhering to best practices and organizational policies. • Conduct testing and quality assurance for applications and automation workflows to ensure optimal performance and user experience. • Document technical processes, user guides, and training materials for end-users. • Support troubleshooting efforts and provide user assistance to users for applications developed on the Microsoft Power Platform. • Stay informed about trends and advancements in IT automation and Microsoft technologies, offering recommendations for enhancements. • Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications/special skillsTo qualify for the United Nations Secretariat internship programme applicants must, at the time of their submission, be enrolled in the final academic year of a first-level university degree programme programme (i.e. Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree); be enrolled in a graduate school programme (i.e. Master's degree or equivalent degree, or higher) or have completed an aforementioned academic degree, preferably in the area of database management, IT developer or a related field, AND, if selected, must commence the internship on the date indicated in the Acceptance letter. LanguagesEnglish and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
