Are you a technician in mechanics willing to work in an international environment as part of a pluri-disciplinary team?
As a Mechanical Technician, you will:
- Construct and assemble cryostats for the HL-LHC Project and other special devices;
- Produce bespoke tooling for the assembly of cryo-magnet service modules and pipe interfaces;
- Manufacture or adjust mechanical parts using conventional machines tools like lathe, milling machine and drill press;

Who we are looking for
Skills and/or knowledge
Knowledge and application of manufacturing methods; Good command in reading technical drawings including ISO-GPS dimensioning;At least a first experience in mechanics, and assembly of complex systems;Fluent in English, the ability to work in French would be an advantage.Eligibility criteria:
You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.You have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Mechanics (or a related field) by the application deadline.Your highest educational qualification is a general secondary education diploma.You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.Job closing date: January 19 at 23:59 PM CET.
