  Context

Under the overall supervision of the Programme Support Unit Coordinator and the direct supervision of M&E officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and coordinating the implementation monitoring and evaluation activities across different program.

 

  1. Assist in monitoring day-to-day project activities.
  2. Perform quality assurance functions during data collection, entry, and storage.
  3. Support the development and maintenance of the MEAL database and information management 
  4. Conduct monitoring visits to deep-field locations to validate information and data collected. 
  5. Support in conducting Post-Distribution Monitoring surveys where required and analyze findings to generate comprehensive reports.
  6. Develop individual M&E activity plans and contribute to the unit’s overall M&E activity plan.
  7. Participate in Monitoring & Evaluation assessments.
  8. Assist in tracking process indicators based on the database and compile MoVs, including conducting pre and post-training tests.
  9. Assist in submitting monthly monitoring reports on time.
  10. Carry out any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

    Education

    • University Degree or equivalent in Monitoring and Evaluation, Economics, Management, Social Work, Demography and Statistics, International Development, and other related Social Sciences.  Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.   Experience
      • Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in monitoring and evaluation of programmes related to emergency and durable solution, reintegration, direct assistance to vulnerable migrants. Skills
        • Demonstrated experience in monitoring and evaluation – with specific experience in project development, data analysis, knowledge management, monitoring, and evaluation in the non-profit sector;
        • Demonstrated proficiency with MS office and advanced data science and/or statistical skills including knowledge of database management, statistical and project management software and data visualization skills is a strong advantage; 
        • Excellent data visualization, analysis and writing skills 
        • Proven ability to establish and maintain strong working relations with relevant Government counterparts, international organizations, and private sector entities. Languages

          For this position, fluency in French is required (oral and written).
