CIFF\u2019s SRHR Product Choices team leads an ambitious portfolio of market shaping and innovative financing strategies to improve access to sexual & reproductive health (SRH) commodities across low- and middle-income countries. We deploy a range of tools including volume guarantees, subsidies, licensing agreements, working capital loans, and performance-based financing to drive down prices, expand manufacturing capabilities, build supply chain resilience, and increase product choices.
Main purpose of the role is:
Support deal development process by sourcing opportunities, structuring partnerships with suppliers, analysing deal impact and building networks and expertise in a range of products for modern contraception and safe abortion. Develop written materials, financial models and KPI dashboards, to support negotiation, programme implementation, and monitoring of CIFF investments. Support engagement with senior external stakeholders across manufacturing companies for negotiations on key access terms and partners for project deliverables Lead the monitoring of milestones and key deliverables against investment/grant objectives with senior external stakeholdersWe are seeking a motivated candidate to support portfolio performance and growth by strengthening strategic alignment with CIFF\u2019s supply chain, financing, and demand-side work.

Lead analysis of market dynamics and assess financial instruments for suitability to address SRHR access barriers Support manufacturers in developing go-to-market plans for low- and middle-income countries Develop health economic models to evaluate the impact and cost-effectiveness of product strategies, incorporating inputs from delivery and supply chain teams Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to refine analytical tools, and decision-making frameworks, enhancing CIFF's product access strategies. Support and/or lead the formulation of new investment proposals, encompassing market analysis, thesis development, and investment memo writing. Execute financial sensitivity and risk analyses, and coordinate with legal, finance, and program teams to manage due diligence and contracting for new investments Support director in scoping new investment opportunities for affordable and quality assured contraception and safe abortion productsProgramme development, delivery & performance
Manage a $50M portfolio of programs, ensuring alignment with sector plans and priorities. Support the engagement with senior stakeholders in manufacturing companies for negotiating access terms and key milestones Lead the tracking of performance against investment or grant objectives Develop and implement performance management processes and KPIs to identify and address deal risks and opportunities Research innovative financial solutions and support proposal development to maintain CIFF\u2019s leadership in innovation Maintain project management tools to support reporting for current and pipeline investments, and collaborate with Finance on forecasting and cash flow management Prepare and disseminate performance reports, including summary, board, and portfolio investment reports in a timely and accurate manner.Sector knowledge, partner management, and profile-building
Build knowledge and expertise in product access partnerships and market management initiatives. Develop peer-level relationships within governments, manufacturers, social enterprises, NGOs, and other foundations. Build and maintain a range of relevant knowledge and information resources, to enable the Product Choices and other SRHR teams to access high quality intelligence, analysis and data to inform investment activity. Compile research on partners/stakeholders to support the effective development of relationships and opportunities by the team. Undertake other specific research projects required, as directed by members of the team
Membership of the team
This role does not hold line management responsibility, but we expect all employees to demonstrate good leadership behaviours; this includes adopting a coaching approach with colleagues to help build skills, confidence and capability in particular areas, processes or procedures. As required, support on the planning and coordination of inductions for new joiners to the team. We operate a matrix structure so reporting lines can vary between specific aspects of the role.
Skills & Experience

The starting salary for this role is GBP 63,790.
