- Ensure that all procurement processes are in compliance with Logistics Handbook, other NRC policies and donor requirements.
- To get quotations from local market for NRC procurement procedure as supervisor assign.
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of goods, services and equipment.
- Receive supplies and ensure that they are in good condition and accompanied with correct documents.
- Provide Procurement and Fleet Management training to field office staff.
- Receive PR tracking and Stock report from field offices and consolidate the report.
- Distribute/organize transport of material and equipment according to procedures.
- To update and submit monthly KPI Report related to procurement, vehicle, generator and contract etc.
- Line management of the Drivers
- Other tasks assigned by line manager.
Generic professional competencies:
• Experience working with procurement/logistics
- Diploma in related field and/ or related practical experience, including any training courses relevant to the position.
• Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts desirable but not essential
- Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of English both written and spoken
Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure/ respond to urgent requests.
- Ability of planning, timing, organizing, as well as problem solving
- Honesty and transparency in dealing with suppliers.
- Computer literate with MS Office skills
- An ability to work discreetly and professionally with sensitive and confidential information, and sometimes under pressure.
