Job Overview:
The Logistics Intern will support the Logistics Officer in the day-to-day implementation of logistics responsibilities. This includes assisting with procurement, asset management, vehicle and fleet management, and general logistics support to ensure smooth operations at the East Jalalabad Office.

Generic Responsibilities:
Adhere to NRC policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelines. Assist in the implementation of delegated support function portfolio according to the plan of action. Help prepare and develop status reports as required by management. Ensure proper filing of documents. Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function. Participate in staff capacity building activities. Contribute to the development of logistics activities.Specific Responsibilities:
Support the Logistics Officer in managing day-to-day logistics activities. Assist in procurement activities, including updating the supplier database and tracking procurement requests and PR Tracker. Help manage and update records of assets and equipment, ensuring they are tagged, and data is maintained according to SOPs. Assist in the use, maintenance, and servicing of office vehicles, fleet, and generators, including maintaining accurate fuel records. Ensure all vehicles are equipped with necessary tools and safety equipment. Support the maintenance and repair of office facilities and equipment. Assist in receiving, dispatching, and storing items properly, maintaining accurate stock and bin cards. Maintain files for all contracts and agreements securely. Maintain and update hard copy files of documents and ensure an accessible filing system. Respect the anonymity and confidentiality of clients, beneficiaries, and suppliers. Assist in managing the warehouse and conducting inventory of office equipment every three months. Perform any other reasonable tasks as instructed by the immediate supervisor.Generic Professional Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree from Business Administration, a diploma or certification from other relevant field is required – only for fresh graduates. No work experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Fluency in written and spoken English. Ability to work additional hours when required. Knowledge of logistics-related fields. Good decision-making and supervisory skills. Good computer skills - Ms Office & database. Good communication skills.Behavioral Competencies:
