Your responsibilities

You recently graduated in electrical engineering and are willing to gain hands-on experience in a multicultural environment? This junior Project Manager position might be your opportunity to join CERN's dynamic Electricity section within Site Asset Management group.

Your main tasks will be to:

Establish or maintain application modules for the operational management of the electrical service in the fields of energy savings management, metering, statistics, technical specifications and equipment standardization.Participate in the definition of electrical technical proposals based on user requirements for construction projects, modifications and renovation work.Monitor and report on activities, schedules and costs.Carry out studies or design of renewable energy systems, including sizing and costing of proposed solutions.Develop technical specifications and all relevant documents to be used for quotations from external contractors.

Eligibility criteria:

You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Electricity, Electrical Engineering (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree.You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.Applicants without University degree are not eligible.Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.

This position requires:
