GIZ supports partner countries in building credible policy and regulatory frameworks that ensure sustainability factors are considered in day-to-day decision making in the financial sector. The successful candidate will join the global project “Sustainable Economic Transformation and Sustainable Finance” at GIZ headquarters in Eschborn/Frankfurt and support the team on a broad spectrum of topics and activities. A core task will be contributing to the planning, preparation and implementation of sustainable finance measures in developing countries and emerging markets worldwide.
As part of your internship at GIZ you will be assigned specific responsibilities that you will be able to carry out independently under the supervision of your line manager. This includes, for example, the following activities:
You will be part of the team and take an active part in regular team meetings and activities You will support the planning, preparation and implementation of technical assistance measures in the field of sustainable finance You will carry out research and prepare presentation materials and concept papers You will support the team in coordinating activities or joint knowledge products with international partners You will support the organization of events and workshops in partner countries You will contribute to the project’s knowledge management, creating content for internal and external communication including social media, and support the monitoring and evaluation of the project’s impactPlease be informed that you are only allowed to apply for this internship, if you are currently enrolled as a student or graduated not longer than six months ago from the start of your internship.
We pay a monthly stipend of €2.134,52 (gross).
