The digitalization of the economy requires an internationally coordinated regulatory framework. To this end, both the EU and the German government (Federal Ministry for Digital and Transport) maintain digital dialogues with key economic partners—such as India. The EU-India Digital Dialogue focuses on topics such as Internet governance, data sovereignty and protection, emerging technologies, and the promotion of start-ups.
The project team coordinates between the Indian government and the EU, provides advisory support on current digital policy developments, facilitates the participation of businesses and industry associations in the dialogue, and promotes cooperation across various sectors and topics.
As part of your internship, you will support the team in India from Germany. You can look forward to working with a highly international team with diverse thematic and cultural perspectives. The team values collaborative work processes and thrives on cross-border cooperation across continents.
GIZ is a signatory of the Diversity Charter. Recognition, appreciation and inclusion of diversity in the company are important to us. All employees shall be valued - regardless of gender and gender identity, nationality, ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, social background, age or sexual orientation.
