The Africa-EU Energy Partnership (AEEP, https://africa-eu-energy-partnership.org) is a framework for strategic dialogue between Africa and the EU. The overall objective of the AEEP is to improve access to secure, affordable and sustainable energy for both continents, with a special focus on increasing investment in energy infrastructure in Africa. GIZ hosts the AEEP Secretariat. Ensuring optimal communication, information sharing and alignment between European and African actors is a key function of the Secretariat. The AEEP organises an annual conference (AEEP Forum), a regular webinar series (AEEP Energy Talks) and supports partner organisations with high-level events. The intern will be based in Bonn and work in a highly dynamic, politically framed setting, with staff deployed in Ethiopia and South Africa, primarily to support the event management of the AEEP.
Please be informed that you are only allowed to apply for this internship, if you are currently enrolled as a student or graduated not longer than six months ago from the start of your internship.
We pay a monthly stipend of €2.134,52 (gross).
