About EBRD Digital Hub

As part of the Client Services Group (CSG), and further part of the Vice-Presidency for Policy and Partnerships (VP3), Bank’s Digital Hub oversees, advises on and coordinates all client-facing digital activities across a network that is embedded in sector teams (Sustainable Infrastructure Group, Financial Institutions, and Industry, Commerce & Agribusiness), as well as the Policy Service Delivery Unit.

‘Accelerating the digital transition’ is one of the three cross-cutting themes of the Bank’s medium-term Strategy (the Strategic and Capital Framework 2021 – 2025) which states that by 2025 the Bank will have launched comprehensive and coherent activities to help countries of operations leverage the digital transition as an enabler of transition across all sectors. To operationalise this digital mandate, the Bank has developed a Digital Approach that outlines its vision of how to embed digital aspects across its investment, policy and advisory services.

Under the supervision of the Digital Hub, the Intern will support the entire team in the smooth functioning of the Digital Hub and implementation of the EBRD Digital Approach across the Bank.

We are looking for a digitally skilled intern to support developing a compelling product range to help our clients in their digital transformation journey, contribute to the evaluation of their digital projects including goals and risks, and setting up and maintaining internal tools to follow-up our various projects and investments.

Specifically, the intern will focus on supporting the following activities:

        • Support the Hub in discussions with banking teams on how/where to expand direct investment and lending technology-based companies, both to incumbent companies looking to digitally transform their businesses and also challengers/disruptors looking to transform their sectors with digital business model.

              • Support the elaboration of a new portal promoting EBRD’s digital products, tools and service catalogue: collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements and ideas, write functional and technical specification, contribute to functional tests, follow-up and reports project progress and risks.
                • Support the elaboration of new tools and standardised advisory offering to help clients digitalise key business functions, including implementation roadmaps for each business function (product/process management, digital marketing, accounting, etc.), realise market studies, evaluate, or elaborate digital maturity assessment models and questionnaires.
