The internship in the Agricultural Development Unit - ADU, Division of Production, Productivity and Management- DPPM, Santiago, Chile) will last 3 to 6 (3 min/6 max) months, depending on the needs of the Office. Candidates may be selected throughout the posting period, on an \"as-needed\" basis. Under the supervision or overall guidance of the Chief of the Agricultural Development Unit, the intern will support the team in activities related to the topic of bioeconomy, with special attention to productive development and measurement. Tasks will include: • Literature reviews on bioeconomy and productive development issues. • Compiling and systematizing data to assess the economic contribution of the bioeconomy. • Assistance in drafting and preparing documents and presentation on bioeconomy. • Attending and summarizing activities (e.g., conferences, workshops, and webinars) and meetings on bioeconomy issues. • Assistance in the organization of events. Qualifications/special skillsApplicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required. Relevant fields of study include economics, agricultural economics, environmental economics, economics of innovation, and statistics. Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D.
