Job Overview:

The intention for HR Intern position is to welcome highly motivated and goal-oriented candidates to explore a wider range of practical experience with an international humanitarian organization. In specific terms, the intern will overall be engaged in learning and supporting the HR and Admin Officer in applying policies and procedures including recruitments, filing and digitalizing.

Generic Responsibilities:

Ensure adherence with NRC policies, tools, handbooks and guidelines. Implement delegated task according to plan of action. Prepare and develop status reports as required by management. Ensure proper filing of documents. Promote and share ideas for improvement of the support function.

Specific Responsibilities:

Assist HR and Admin Officer in filling, scanning and storing Personal and recruitments documents. Always ensure confidentiality of all personnel records. Assist HR and Admin Officer to track and obtain signature on monthly attendance and Timesheets. Assist HR and Admin Officer to maintain and update leave tracking database and HRIMS. Assist HR and Admin Officer in arrangement of interviews, written tests and meetings. Assists HR and Admin Officer in briefing and debriefing procedure of staff. Performs other duties when required and given by the line manager.

Generic Professional Competencies:

Bachelor’s degree from Business Administration, Diploma or Certification from other relevant field is required – only for fresh graduates. No work experience is required. Well organized, efficient, hard-working. Proactive and organized. Ability to commence work immediately. Basic skills in English language.
