The purpose of the HR Coordinator is to support the NRC Human Resources department in ensuring implementation and compliance with NRC policies and procedures in all of NRC Sudan. Technical Supervision and support ensuring compliance to HR procedures across all NRC Sudan operations. This role includes significant travel to Darfur,Kordofan, Nile Area. applicants must be willing and able to travel to these locations' minimum twice per year to each Area Office.
Generic responsibilities:
Implement NRC systems and procedures across all NRC Sudan offices. Ensure adherence to NRC policies, handbooks, guidelines, and donor requirements Prepare and submit reports and analysis Ensure proper filing of all HR documents Support line managers in procedures and required HR team trainings Line Management of Country Office HR team Ensure development and implementation of administrative systems and procedures Ensure adherence to NRC policies and the national labour law in all processes and procedures Advise in personnel conflicts/processes when relevant Coordinate staff recruitment and exits, introductions, training, staff benefits schemes etc. Coordinate with relevant partners, suppliers, authorities, lawyers etc Actively promote PSEA (Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards & principles within NRC and amongst beneficiaries served by NRC.Specific responsibilities
Ensure timely implementation of HR activities and dissemination of HR SOPs and policies throughout all Sudan operations, advising HR staff, line managers and other staff when required Ensure that onboarding, induction, performance management and exit procedures are implemented for all staff in NRC Sudan operations Advise and support line managers and staff with personnel queries in line with NRC SOP’s and HR policies Follow up on disciplinary measures/meetings, conflict management; participate in fact findings as required Ensure accurate and timely data is maintained in all NRC files in the Sudan 365 filing tree, promote a culture of data protection throughout NRC Sudan operations Ensure implementation of recruitment processes through advertisement, workforce planning, pro-active sourcing, selection, and job offers throughout NRC Sudan operations Prepare HR and recruitment reports as required and HR Indicators. Management of HR Technical Officer (CO – Port Sudan Staff) , HR Officers and HR Assistant, ensuring accountability to their tasks, support and follow up and capacity building Follow up and with line managers and staff on performance management and NRC’s performance management system Review and update HR policies and Standard Operating Procedures when required Ensure an appropriate implementation of NRC’s Duty of care policy. Complete spot check on all Area and CO payroll throughout the year Liaise with NRC Lawyers on all related legal matters with relevance to the national Labour and Social Insurance and Income Tax Laws Conduct regular field visits to support and guide field HR staff and Line Managers on all related operational HR matters
