Your responsibilities
The geomatics team (Sites and Civil Engineering Department) surveys, collects and manages geographical information relating to CERN's infrastructure and equipment. The team also develops web interfaces to share information via a geographic information system (GIS).
As a geomatician, you will be responsible for :
Data management (data integration and updating, data quality, database design, symbology standards).Producing technical or general maps and plans on demand.The development and publication of web applications. Skills and/or knowledge
Good Knowledge of Arcgis Pro sofware (ESRI suite) , FME (Safe) and Oracle or equivalent.Basics of Python, javascript and SQL languages.Fluent in French, the ability to work in English would be an advantage.Eligibility criteria:
You are a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State.By the application deadline, you have a maximum of two years of professional experience since graduation in Land Surveying, Topography, Geomatics, GIS (or a related field) and your highest educational qualification is either a Bachelor's or Master's degree.You have never had a CERN fellow or graduate contract before.Applicants without University degree are not eligible.Applicants with a PhD are not eligible.Job closing date: April 14th 2024 at 23:59 CEST.
