Your responsibilities
As a Full Stack Developer you will join the BE-CSS-GTA team.
The Web Rapid Application development Platform (WRAP) is a no-code solution, helping users throughout CERN create applications specific to their needs but based on the common underlying control system. Legacy solutions such as the Experimental Areas UI (CESAR UI) and a Java-Swing-based tool, Inspector, will be migrated to WRAP. However, specific extensions, new integrations with existing controls services as well as migration scripts need to be developed to enable a swift and efficient transition.
In this role, you will:
Participate in the development of such extensions, with tasks ranging from analysing and designing the system integration, to creating a user-friendly interface to interact with it.Work closely with the end user communities and contribute to the implementation and improvement of the tools required to streamline the migration.Your profile

At CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe. Using the world's largest and most complex scientific instruments, they study the basic constituents of matter - fundamental particles that are made to collide together at close to the speed of light. The process gives physicists clues about how particles interact, and provides insights into the fundamental laws of nature. Find out more on http://home.cern.
Diversity has been an integral part of CERN's mission since its foundation and is an established value of the Organization. Employing a diverse workforce is central to our success.
