Work Locationhome Based Expected duration08/12/25 - 07/02/26 Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe objectives of this consultancy is to support project implementation by piloting TiSSTAT in selected countries, conducting trainings, and strengthening institutional capacity. They will also provide comprehensive documentation, progress reports, and actionable recommendations to ensure the system functions effectively, delivers accurate responses, and meets user requirements. Under the supervision of the project officer - STAT 1, the consultant will : 1. Test the whole system, existing features, modules and new developed features in V1.6 using existing data prepared by the team as well as simulating data and multiple scenarios for testing purposes. 2. Review and suggest potential adjustments to the new developed and implemented questionnaire on creative services as well as questionnaire for units trading travel services that CARICOM countries' will use during the pilot phase of TiSSTAT system in countries in first quarter of 2026 3. Revise the online related questionnaires instructions and contextual text are placed from a user experience perspective. 4. Review and suggest changes to reports generated by TiSSTAT. Ensuring the good implementation of the new questionnaires 5. Suggest additional changes to the outline of the questionnaire and system interface raised by the review above. 1. Participates in technical workshops focused on training users on the functionalities and capabilities of the TiSSTAT system, specifically the new developed questionnaires. 2. Provide advisory services specifically tailored to the benefits and challenges of adopting and using the TiSSTAT system by the entreprises. 3. Consider custom statistical tools and features within the TiSSTAT system to address specific needs or challenges identified during analysis in the initial phase. 4. Support with development of training materials on TiSSTAT providing exercises for each step as well as new features developed in TiSSTAT V1.6, as well as the new questionnaires. Qualifications/special skillsAn advanced university degree, Master, in engineering, statistics, economics, or a related field, is required. At least 2 years of experience in engineering, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field, at an international or national organization, university, private sector or research institute is required. Proficiency in engineering and statistical software (R, SAS, Eviews, Stata, Ras, MATLAB, GIS,..ect.) is required. Specialization in digital statistics, mathematical modeling, or sustainability and digital focused engineering is an advantage is an advantage. LanguagesFluency written and spokenin English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (French or Arabic in particular) is a big asset. Additional InformationNot available.
