At CERN, the European Organization for Nuclear Research, physicists and engineers are probing the fundamental structure of the universe. Using the world's largest and most complex scientific instruments, they study the basic constituents of matter - fundamental particles that are made to collide together at close to the speed of light. The process gives physicists clues about how particles interact, and provides insights into the fundamental laws of nature. Find out more on http://home.cern.
Introduction
Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer, specialized in energy and electricity contract management for technical matters? Take part!
The Energy Coordination unit at CERN is in charge of bringing together all energy management processes of the Organisation. This includes, without limitation, the management of CERN's Energy Management System (EnMS) in accordance with the ISO 50001 standard and contributes to the management of the Organisation’s main electricity supply contract. This unit is housed in the Accelerator & Technology Sector (ATS) and works in close cooperation with other departments in charge in particular of Procurement Management, Finance, Site Management, security and environment, legal affairs.
