Provide conceptual engineering support to the Technical Facilities Team (TFT) by analysing interventions, inspections and availability reports to identify and recommend corrective actions to TFT team, suppliers and contractors. Assess new and existing maintenance concepts for electrical installations and propose possible improvements; advise relevant team(s) on practical implementation. Analyse operational impact and risks of maintenance interventions, adjustments of existing electrical installations and implementation of new installations. Determine the designs (construction requirements) and architecture of electrical installations, coordinate and maintain the replacement maintenance plan and budget (g., More Year Electrical Maintenance Planning, call for tender). Administer the PoR’s (Program of Requirements*), follow up on the requirements and keep them up to date; function as a SPOC (single point of contact) for local authorities, municipalities, power companies and insurance agencies. Determine and follow-up the FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) with suppliers. Ensure conformity with EUROCONTROL’s quality manuals, local and international standards with regards to electrical installations. Carry out any other tasks in line with the main purpose of the job.

Required qualifications, experience & competencies
Post-secondary education in a relevant area (e.g., electrical engineering, electronics, electromechanical engineering). A relevant Bachelor's degree would be an asset.

A minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience to carry out the described responsibilities (industrial electrical installations, conceptual engineering, project & maintenance management). Experience in design, implementation and maintenance of industrial electrical installations (generators, UPS, power distribution & control). Experience with maintenance management (industrial electrical installations). Experience with safety procedures (VCA, NEN, ATEX) & critical safety & security systems and installations (fire detection & suppression, access control, CCTV, public address system). Experience with project management and project supervision regarding electrical installations (new installations, rearrangements, replacements, additions) is an asset. Understanding of TIER requirements regarding the reliability and availability of industrial electrical installations. Technical writing skills (English).
