Under the authority of the UNESCO Director & Representative, and the direct supervision of the Administrative Officer (AO) and in coordination with the ADMIN team, the Driver provides reliable and safe driving services in support of UNESCO Regional Office in Jakarta ensuring the highest standards of discretion and integrity, sense of responsibility, excellent knowledge of protocol and security issues. The incumbent shall perform the following duties and responsibilities:
Additional tasks may be assigned by the Director and/or Supervisor provided they are consistent with the function as set out above.
Languages: Good knowledge of English (written and spoken English)
NOTE: \"Fluency equals a rating of \"fluent\" in all four areas (read, write, speak, understand) and \" Knowledge of\" equals a rating of \"Confident\" in two of the four areas.
Certification and/or training in Defensive driving and Personal safety training is an added advantage.
Work experience as a driver in an international organization, embassy or UN agency is an added advantage.
UNESCO’s salaries consist of a basic salary and other benefits which may include if applicable: 30 days annual leave, family allowance, medical insurance, pension plan etc.
The approximate monthly starting salary for this post is IDR 8,260,513 (Inclusive of Social Benefits)
