About the program:

As part of WRI’s Food, Land and Water Program, the Land and Forest initiatives aim to conserve and restore forests and other natural landscapes for their vast benefits to people, nature and climate. We develop groundbreaking research, tools and global partnerships with civil society, governments and the private sector. Our work spans several initiatives and platforms, including our flagship Global Forest Watch (GFW), a free forest monitoring initiative that allows anyone to access globally consistent, near-real-time information about where and how forests are changing around the world.
