    ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1-Desktop review of the institutional, regulatory and policy setting (including a stakeholder mapping, and institutional and capacity gaps;

    2-Lead and coordinate the feasibility Study and Analysis of climate-resilient agricultural practices and ensure the following deliverables are produced: Environmental and Ecological Feasibility of climate-resilient agricultural , 3-Technical Feasibility of climate-resilient agricultural practices , Socio-Economic Feasibility of climate-resilient agricultural practices;

    3-Organize and coordinate capacity needs assessments and provide a capacity needs assessment report;

    4-Undertake stakeholder consultations and prepare a stakeholder consultation report;

    5-Lead and Coordinate the Preparation of a Full GCF Funding Proposal for the Project as per the submitted Concept note and PPF application terms of references;

    6-Provide any additional support as required and/or requested by the Country Office Management and/or the supervisor.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    Education:

    Advanced University degree in International Development, International Relations, Agriculture, Anthropology, Sociology, Social Research Methods, Social Sciences or other field relevant to international development assistance, or First University Degree with additional years of related work experience and/or trainings/courses.

    Experience:

    • At least 8 years of experience in climate change and food security project development, including the successful development of climate related Funding Proposals.
    • Has experience in establishing contacts and liaising with partner organizations/companies.
    • Previous experience working in an International Organization and/or UN organization desirable.

      Knowledge & Skills:

      • Solid understanding of Agenda 2030 and of SDG2 and SDG17 and respective targets and how the work of WFP can contribute to achieving them.
      • Solid understanding of WFP policies and procedures.
      • Familiarity with WFP’s mandate, Country Strategic Planning process, intervention modalities, programme and project lifecycle tools, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation.
      • Solid knowledge of key national and regional contexts and issues.
      • Demonstrated data collection and analytical writing skills, including ability to analyze and consolidate quantitative and qualitative

        information to understand national capacities across a wide range of

        policy and programme areas and identify gap and needs, as well as WFP’s entry points.
