Work LocationAddis Ababa Expected duration6 months Duties and ResponsibilitiesDaily responsibilities will vary and depend on the individual's background, including but not limited to: • Assist in the design and dissemination of internal communications materials such as announcements, digital flyers, and intranet updates • Support the promotion of events, trainings, and HR campaigns organized by HRMS • Contribute to introducing new staff members through internal communication channels • Help adapt and disseminate global HR messages for ECA staff • Ensure alignment of communication materials with ECA HRMS branding guidelines • Monitor staff engagement with communications and propose improvements • Research and suggest creative approaches to improve internal communications • Assist with content formatting, simple visual design, or media creation using available tools Qualifications/special skillsApplicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). In addition, education background in communication,graphic designing and content creation is desirable. Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required. Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D.
