Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina aims to enhance and expand existing ISM system with its biometric component. In this regard, an expert working group has been established with the following tasks:
- Analyse user requirements for the ISM system with its biometric component;
- Develop and harmonize the technical specification of necessary equipment, software, licenses and related services;
- Coordinate the phase of enhancing and expanding the ISM system with its biometric component;
- Submit the final technical documentation to IOM by December 31st 2025.
To support the implementation of these tasks, a consultant with proven experience in migration government systems, biometric government systems, integration of different government systems for foreigners, border control systems, visa systems and asylum systems is required.
Such a consultant should provide expert and advisory support to ensure that the design, documentation and implementation are in line with international biometric standards, EU data protection regulations and reliable/modern IT architecture principles.
Tasks to be performed under this contract:
