    Role and responsibilities:

    This position oversees the implementation of the CCS (Cash Consortium of Sudan) NRC current and future projects. NRC is a founding partner of this consortium and is implementing projects in all locations of Sudan. NRC implements through Area Offices but federation and coordination with the consortium happens at country office level.

    The position’s main purpose is the daily follow ups on the implementation of the CCS grants with Area Offices and make sure that the reporting follow ups and figures are reconciled and correct with what has been uploaded in the system with CCS technical support team.

    This position is part of a dedicated Cash team for the cash consortium of Sudan.

    Generic responsibilities:

    1. Ensures quality programming
    2. Ensure timely reporting and respect of deadline 

      Specific responsibilities:

      1.Program Design and Planning:

      • Technically support NRC field teams in the designing and execution of Cash and Voucher assistance, and Market support interventions ensuring that implementing teams are aligning with associated CVA and Market Based Programming Standard Operating Procedures.

        2. Partnership Management:

        • Build and maintain strong relationships with CC Managers, partners, stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, collaboration, and coordination throughout program implementation.

          3. Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning:

          • Support NRC’s Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Team in conducting baseline assessments, post distribution monitoring, and relevant analytical activities and ensure the accountability

            What you will bring:

            1. Competencies

              1. Professional competencies 

              Generic professional competencies: 

              • 5 years minimum relevant experience
              • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social science, project management or relevant fields. 
              • Experience in Consortium functionality
              • Experience in reporting (data collection and drafting)
              • Fluency in English both written and verbal
              • Experience in multi-project management

                Context related skills, knowledge and experience: 

                • Knowledge of the context in Sudan
                • Experience with Consortiums
                • Good knowledge of Arabic is an advantage 
                • Experience with donors’ guidelines and requirements (BHA, ECHO, FCDO, SDC) What we offer
                  • Duty station: Port Sudan, Sudan 
                  • Salary/benefits: grade 8 on NRC’s salary scale. 
                  • Duration of Contract: 12 months
                  • Travel: 50%
