The Activity focuses on enhancing multisector coordination and accountability; improving nutrition practices and health-seeking behaviors; and strengthening delivery of quality nutrition services within USAID’s Feed the Future Zones of Influence.

Job Summary:

The Assistant Finance and Admin Officer will maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions, organize and maintain physical and electronic records, and prepare and manage documents, reports, and correspondence of various types.

Accountabilities:

  • identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, tracking them to the source and correcting them.
  • notifying the concerned Finance staff on any discrepancies in business ledgers and accounts.
  • preparing deposits and delivering them to banks.
  • collaborate with Financial Managers and other team members to successfully execute various accounting tasks.
  • maintain company ledgers and daily financial transactions.
  • create financial documents such as bills, invoices, pay-orders, payables, and receivables.
  • verify payments and deposits made through the company account and coordinate with the bank.
  • organize and maintain physical and electronic records.
  • prepare and manage documents, reports, and correspondence of various types.
  • compiling records of office activities.
  • photocopying and scanning.
  • preparing and sending outgoing mailings and packages and receiving documents from Area offices.
  • monitoring and ordering inventory of office supplies.

    • Exercises judgment within defined policies and procedures to obtain solutions and perform duties.

        • BA in Accounting, Finance or other relevant field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
