Under the overall supervision of the Head of Manaila Supply Chain Unit (MSCU) and the direct supervision of the National Supply Chain Officer, and in close coordination with the relevant units at Supply Chain Division and HQ, the successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for promoting the implementation of Supply Chain risk management and compliance systems, structures and procedures, make recommendations to the Head of the Business Policy and Systems Unit (BPSU) for risk treatment action plans, SCM compliance reviews and implementation actions. The successful candidate also supports Head of BPSU to develop SCM learning framework, identify relevant training programmes and materials, facilitating trainings and coordinating knowledge sharing activities for IOM offices.

Experience
At least five years of experience in procurement or other supply chain management pillars.Experience in risk and knowledge management (desired).Demonstrated knowledge of internationally recognized supply chain standards, with the particular focus on international procurement techniques used in contracting for a diverse range of goods and services.Extent and relevance of experience in providing support and guidance to requisitions and supply chain staff on the range of supply chain aspects with the particular focus in procurement and logistics.Knowledge of and working experience with Enterprise Risk Management frameworks.Knowledge of and working experience of Internal Control Frameworks, systems, and reviews (desired).Exposure to and experience in UN or humanitarian field operations and emergencies in various geographical locations and multiple functional areas (desired).Skills
