We are responsible for processing the operational activities in the areas of trade settlements, cash management, treasury portfolio servicing, corporate payments and collections, and collateral management while enabling the Business Strategy and minimizing the operational risks.

We are looking for an excellent team player to join our Team who is detailed oriented, with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, eager to learn and contribute. You will support the team in the various activities including but not limited to, the Trade settlement of Fixed income and Derivative products, Business Analysis and Implementation of new or improvements in existing Financial Systems.

What you’ll do

· Trade Settlement Operations

o Perform trade confirmation process for all fixed income securities and OTC derivatives trades with counterparts.

o Monitor and ensure settlement of investments activities (fixed income securities), funding activities (bonds issued), and OTC derivatives instruments for Treasury related activities.

o Process and record cash, investment, funding, and derivative transactions in systems.

o Monitor and resolve pre-trade/post-trade discrepancies.

· Business Analysis

o Create comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and Use Cases for prospective Treasury System.

o Develop test plans and conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and performance.

o Plan and contribute to integration of new systems with existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow and compatibility.

What you'll need

· Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

· Education: Bachelors degree or equivalent in finance, business administration, accounting, or other relevant fields.

· Experience: You have at least 2 years of relevant experience; successful track record of achieving high quality results and delivering client valuable services to meet team and departmental objectives; expertise in fixed income trade settlement, OTC derivatives market and business analysis for Treasury Management System.

· Languages: You are proficient in written and verbal communication in English. Proficiency in other official language of the IDB Group (Spanish, Portuguese or French) is a plus.

Core and Technical Competencies

· Demonstrate strong working knowledge Fixed income and Derivatives operational processes.

· Proficiency in Business Analysis for Implementation of Financial Software and tools.

· Experience working with Treasury Management Systems, Markitwire and Bloomberg AIM will be desirable.

· Ability to use technology to improve and advance new and existing processes.
