Organisation Background
Founded in 2011, the International NGO Safety Organisation (INSO) is an international non-governmental organisation that supports humanitarian aid workers by establishing safety coordination platforms in insecure contexts. INSO provides registered NGOs with a range of free services, including real-time incident tracking, analytical reports, safety-related data and mapping, crisis management support, staff orientations and training.
INSO supports more than 1000 NGOs operating in 16 of the world’s most insecure countries and is headquartered in The Hague, the international city of peace and justice.
INSO South Sudan
Founded in 2018, INSO South Sudan addresses the insecure operating environment all NGOs face in the country. The platform currently supports 246 NGOs, enhancing safety preparedness and providing support through reports, alerts, training and more. We cover all ten states and three administrative areas in South Sudan with a country office in Juba and field offices in Yambio, Wau, Rumbek, Bentiu, Malakal, and Bor. Working with INSO South Sudan will provide you with the opportunity to work within a dynamic and growing program alongside a diverse team.
Job Summary
As Training Manager, you will oversee the development and delivery of training courses to assist both national and international NGOs in organizational safety and crisis management, as well as personal risk mitigation and humanitarian access.
You will have a strong background in NGO safety and security, be outgoing, inquisitive and detail oriented and have significant experience designing and facilitating high quality curricula along with impact monitoring. You will have the ability to tailor training to the context.
This position is based in Juba with travel throughout the country and reports to the Country Director.

12-month contract, €4550 per month salary, 4 calendar days annual leave per month and 7 days of R&R every 2 months with a €1250 allowance each R&R cycle, in-country housing provided, global medical insurance (excluding USA) and $200,000 AD&D coverage.
