Job description
GIZ International Services is looking for a Team Leader for an EU funded project “EU 4 Public Finance Management (PFM) In Montenegro”.
The overall objective of this project is to contribute to increased efficiency, effectiveness and transparency of the public finance management in Montenegro, in line with EU requirements.
Your tasks
The Team Leader will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Project. She/he will coordinate the implementation of activities in compliance with the Project work plan, adjusting priorities, proposing amendments and resolving problem issues as necessary and appropriate. She/he will coordinate inputs by the Project experts, ensuring logical timing of visits and coherent ToRs for their missions. She/he will supervise and participate in the elaboration and delivery of the training programme. She/he will support timely PSC meetings and reporting to the Contracting Authority by the Beneficiary Project Coordinator. She/he will contribute with her/his expertise, knowledge and experience to the relevant result areas in an exemplary spirit of cooperation. She/he will continuously remind all stakeholders of the goals of this activity and take measures to ensure the achievement of the results.
Your profile
University Degree attested by diploma in finance, business, economics, management or public administration management or equivalent relevant professional experience of minimum 5 years in the public finance sector, additional to the general professional experience requested below. Fluency in English, both written and oral. At least 10 years of professional experience in the public finance sector. At least 6 years of experience in the area of budgeting, budget planning and budget execution. Experience in managing at least two technical assistance projects as a team leader, with at least one focusing in the field of public finance management in Western Balkans. Experience in delivering trainings and on-the-job capacity building, Experience in the implementation of strategic reforms in public finance will be an asset.
