Context
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Project Associate (Social Inclusion & Integration), the MHPSS Specialist (Social Inclusion) Support provides group-based MHPSS interventions and community-based psychosocial support to promote the mental well-being and social inclusion of migrants.
1. Group and Community-Based MHPSS Activities
Design and facilitate group MHPSS sessions for migrants. Implement community-based psychosocial activities to promote social cohesion.2. Psychoeducation and Awareness
Organize psychoeducation workshops and awareness campaigns to strengthen resilience. Provide technical support to staff on inclusive MHPSS approaches.3. Monitoring and Evaluation
Assess the effectiveness of group-based MHPSS interventions. Document and report on lessons learned and best practices.4. Documentation and Compliance
Maintain accurate records of group MHPSS activities, ensuring adherence to IOM’s data protection policies. Education University degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution with three years of relevant experience; or high school diploma with five years of experience. Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. Experience Experience in facilitating MHPSS activities in community settings. Knowledge of mental health promotion, psychoeducation, and social inclusion frameworks. Skills Strong facilitation and community engagement skills. Experience in group-based psychosocial interventions. Languages For this position, fluency in Ukrainian is required (oral and written). Fluency in Hungarian and/or English is a distinct advantage.
