JOB TITLE: Supply Chain Officer, NO-A
TYPE OF CONTRACT: Fixed Term
UNIT/DIVISION: Supply Chain Unit
DUTY STATION (City, Country): Dili, Timor-Leste
DURATION: 12 months (with the possibility of extension)
THE ROLE
To provide analytics and contributions to the supply chain activities and contribute to field supply chain operations, following an effective and integrated supply chain approach meeting the food assistance needs of beneficiaries and service provision requirements for partners.
The Supply Chain Officer will work under the direct supervision of the Head of Supply Chain Unit with overall supervision from the Country Director.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive, within delegated authority):
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Education: Advanced University degree preferably in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Economics, Business Administration, Logistics, or other related field, or First University degree with two years of related work experience and/or training/courses (e.g. CIPS).
Desired experiences for entry into the role:
Minimum one or more years of relevant professional work experience in the relevant area of work.
Experience in analysing operational context and trends;
Experience in supporting analytical and conceptual work on supply chain strategy and implementation;
Experience in designing plans and operational scenarios in collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders.
Experience in analysing end-to-end supply chain operations;
