The Executive Secretariat of the IDB Retirement Plans (VPF/SRP) is in charge of administering the benefits and actuarial life cycle of six retirement plans for international and local employees. With over 5,000 participants, the Secretariat needs a strong team of professionals to administer pension benefits, payments, and associated pension administration systems in an efficient manner.
What you’ll do:
Build and expand dashboards for portfolio analysis on Power Bi or Tableau, including for individual asset classes (private infrastructure, fixed income, etc.). Automate tasks within investment analysis and operations, including those related to operational risk management and the preparation of financial statements. Build spreadsheets and dashboards to enhance monthly investment analysis, including rebalancing, portfolio monitoring and reporting. Continue automation projects for subcomponents of assets and performance databases. Improve portfolio analytic metrics on Bloomberg. Help SRI investment analysis and operations team to build databases to keep information safe and make easier to access. Help SRI operations team with regular rebalancing, transaction and other monthly tasks. Help SRI investment team with weekly compliance tasks. Work with investment teams to adapt stakeholder reports – Committees’ and participants’ – for ease of understanding and actionable recommendations. Start using code and more advanced tools to help the team in the analysis required to monitor markets, assets and managers. Assist in the preparation of documents and presentations for Bank's senior management and Plan's Governance Committees. Assist in monitoring current pension trends and to provide support for in-depth research studies on pension-related matters.What you'll need
Education: Bachelor’s degree in areas related to Finance, Business, Mathematics, Statistics or Accounting. Experience: Two years of relevant professional experience. Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.Key skills:

Knowledge of MS Project, Power Bi, Tableau, SQL and/or other programming, analytics, and visualization systems highly desired. Statistical Software (e.g., STATA, EViews, SPSS, R Studio).
